A State of Mind

#COUNTRY is more about a state-of-mind and a down home culture than a region. I’m from North Carolina, my wife is from Detroit. You could be from the South Bronx or Stockholm and understand what it means when we say ‘proud to be from the south’.

For The Record

I produced the record with the talented Ryan Sutton. It was engineered by Grammy nominated engineer Steve Marcantonio . We recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Nashville, TN. Joined by my friends – some of the best session and touring musicians in the business. (Their credits include Eric Paslay, Eric Durrance, Love and Theft, Thompson Square, Jake Owen, Taylor Swift, Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock, Big and Rich, Wynona Judd, James Otto, and Lauren Alaina to name a few.)

Its the simple pleasures in life that make it all worth living. Cornbread, sweet tea, cut offs, 4 wheel drive. Moonshine in a dixie cup.

#Country (Track 1)

If something beautiful and alluring catches my eye, turns my head makes my heart beat faster its either my amazing wife or a classic automobile. I have always been a car man.

She’s Like That (Track 2)

Leave is a song about the heartbreak of leaving someone when its the only option.

Leave (Track 5)

A love song that’s pure and simple. Proud to have my wife singing on this song.

Meant to Be (Track 7)

Starting again means letting go of old memories of the past – easier said than done.
Burn (Track 4)

Seems like the world has gone crazy sometimes. I mean where do you even start to make a difference. One day I realized that maybe I can’t change the world but there are things I can do that are right in from of me. Small things but big in the eyes of those who love and depend on me.

What I Can Change (Track 6)

Follow me as I restore my ’68 Camaro.
